		<description>I need to write a post like this about Daytona Beach and everything within a couple of hours of here. I remember when we could ski on the St. John&#039;s River. Now it&#039;s all a no-wake zone, for the manatee. I agree with the decision, but I sure do have some great memories. And I still have a scar on my knee from kneeling down in the sand on the beach and getting cut on a piece of glass from a Coke bottle. I even remember the old concrete pavilions that were built on the beach, right by the boardwalk.
